KEEP ON LIVING After Jesus responded to some religious leaders that there is no marriages in eternal life, He then addressed their mention of the resurrection by saying "AS TO WHETHER THE DEAD WILL BE RAISED—HAVEN’T YOU EVER READ ABOUT THIS IN THE WRITINGS OF MOSES, IN THE STORY OF THE BURNING BUSH? LONG AFTER ABRAHAM, ISAAC, AND JACOB HAD DIED, GOD SAID TO MOSES, ‘I AM THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, THE GOD OF ISAAC, AND THE GOD OF JACOB.’ SO HE IS THE GOD OF THE LIVING, NOT THE DEAD" [Mk 12:26-27 NL]{Mt 22:32}{Lk 20:38}. By speaking of Abraham in the present tense, God was indicating that long after Abraham's body died, he was still alive. So there cannot be a resurrection or raise from the dead people, who are alive. Remember Jesus told Martha, “ANYONE WHO BELIEVES IN ME WILL  LIVE, EVEN AFTER DYING.  EVERYONE WHO LIVES IN  ME AND BELIEVES IN ME WILL NEVER EVER DIE” [Jn  11:25-26 NL]. When our bodies die, believers will keep on living. Will you keep on living? Home, BasicSubjects, Scriptures
