A JESUS CHURCH It is best for people who follow Jesus to worship and serve God with others who follow Jesus. You may worship and serve God in a place that looks like a traditional church or a home or an old food place or a barn, etc. The important detail is, as Jesus states you “WILL WORSHIP THE FATHER IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH” [Jn 4:23 NI] no matter what the place looks like. The day you meet may be like in the early church “On the first day of the week we came together to break bread” [Ac 20:7 NI] which is Sunday, the day Jesus rose from the dead or “on the Sabbath day” [Lk 4:16 NI] the seventh day of the week when Jews including Jesus worshipped or everyday as the first followers got together “each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper” [Ac 2:46 NL]. The day or days are not important as Jesus teaches He “HAS AUTHORITY OVER THE SABBATH” [Lk 6:5 VOICE]. Notice, when the followers of Jesus or Jesus church got together, they took the bread and the cup, as Jesus instructed “TO REMEMBER ME” [1 Co 11:25 IC], also referred to as “to break bread” and “the Lord’s Supper”. It is good to obey Jesus and be “THE KINDS OF WORSHIPERS THE FATHER WANTS” [Jn 4:23 IC].  Is your church a Jesus church?  To learn more about JESUS WORLDVIEW go to http://www.jesusworldview.net/ Home, BasicSubjects, Scriptures
